We acknowledge and respect the many different levels of experience that can be found within our industry, and offer our guests an Artistic Level System that gives them the opportunity to determine what best suits their individual needs. Here at Factions Salon Spa we encourage all of our guests to utilize our Level System, and we support you 100% if you choose to see another Designer not matter the reason. We want to make sure that you are being taken care of properly, and we know you will be here, as opposed to another salon. Our service providers are placed on a particular level based on their expertise, educational background and their knowledge of the Principles of Hair Color, Hair Design, Long Hair Styling, Men’s Barbering, Children’s Styling, Make Up Artistry and Brow Artistry. Our passion for continued learning is the foundation of Factions Salon Spa. Education has and will always be at the forefront of our success and will continue to move and inspire our growth into the future. All of our service providers stay on the cutting edge of their prospective industries, and offer you the latest trends, techniques and professional products. All while maintaining the very personal relationship that makes your service all about you. As a member of our team each one has thoroughly demonstrated their commitment to excellence in high quality services and client relations. Our Artistic Levels Apprentice Designer- an Apprentice is someone who is beginning their career here at Factions, and is being taught from scratch in the Principles listed above. They begin here by assisting all of our designers in shampooing guests, and keeping things running smooth. As the Creative Director and Owner of Factions, JoAnn Kohut trains the apprentices at this level. New Talent Designer- Just as the name would suggest, the designers are newly licensed individuals who are shadowing a Master Artistic Designer to gain the necessary knowledge to give their guests a real Salon Spa experience and learning and applying the Principles. They will assist in color applications and styling/finishing when needed under the direction of a Master. As the Creative Director and Owner of Factions, JoAnn Kohut leads the New Talent Educational program. Artistic Designer- at this level our designers have a strong understanding of the Principles and are applying them while working with guests to create beautiful work. They are also working towards their Master's level. When a new designer joins the team and they already have two or more years of salon experience they may be placed at this level while learning and applying the Principles. Master Artistic Designer- as the name suggests, the designers have mastered the Principles and have been promoted from the Artistic Designer Level. Here they continue to not only learn the latest, but also to help in the mentoring of our Apprentices and New Talent Designers. To further the knowledge and experience of our New Talent Designers, Masters will utilize them to help or assist in certain color applications and the blow-dry finishing of clients. |
